FOXNews.com - Investigators Pursuing 'All the Leads' in Times Square Bomb Plot
This confirms that it was a car bomb. There is no information yet as to exactly who planted the car bomb and no one or group has claimed responsibility but it appears that the bomb was done by an "amateur." Fortunately it didn't work but given that even amateurs can get it right once in a while, we hope for a speedy resolution in this case. The person or persons behind this act should be in prison.
