There is no place for shari'ah law in the United States. It is inimical to our Constitution and our fundamental concepts of freedom and individual rights. The folly of allowing it to flourish in a Western society built on Christian values and a basically secular government is amply demonstrated by what has been happening in Great Britain.

Just in case you misunderstood me, there is no place for shari'ah law in the United States. Muslims are free to peacefully worship as they please–as are all religions in America–but they are not free to abrogate any part of our Constitution in the name of their religious liberty.
