The Perfect Game

This will be all over the sports news shortly but I just watched Dallas Braden of the Oakland Athletics pitch a perfect game.  Then after some celebrating on the field he went to the front of the dugout and hugged his grandmother.  And it's Mother's Day.

The perfect game in politics would involve erasing the debt, winning in Iraq and Afghanistan, stopping Iran's nuclear program and lowering taxes...in the next year.  That's how difficult it is to throw a perfect game in professional baseball.  It's only been done 19 times in the history of the game.

And then he made it better with his hug of his grandmother.

It doesn't get any better than that!  What a beautiful Sunday and what a blessed game to watch.
