I find it amazing that this leftist liberal-progressive icon smugly asserts that what is happening is the result of everyone else's need and actions while saying, "I ask only to be treated fairly like anyone else."

Sure, Polanski, we'll treat you like any other child rapist. While the left-wing of Hollywood will line-up to praise you as someone who shouldn't be judged by the same standards as anyone else, we'll ensure you are given equal treatment. You've had a great 30 years on the lam in Europe. Hopefully you'll soon get to spend a significant amount of time in jail in the United States.

And, by the way, what was it that you did to that 13-year old girl? I suggest you opt for solitary confinement in jail. They won't have the same drugs on the inside.
