Effort to Clean Up Gulf Spill Seriously Thwarted by Safety Patrol

Have you gotten the feeling that the Obama Regime is prolonging the problem and ensuring that the damage increases in order to bolster their claim that we need to stop all oil drilling and have a carbon tax?

Have you yet wondered if Louisiana would be getting faster service from the Regime if Bobby Jindal was a Democrat?

Have you thought about what the damage to the environment would be right now if the President had waived the Jones Act when the Dutch and Norwegians offered their oil skimming vessels?

And is the EPA actually worried about the environmental damage to Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama and Florida or are they worried about keeping the crises going so that can be used as an excuse to increase the EPA's powers?

I've wondered about all these things and I'm not sure that, knowing the Chicago Way, I trust the government's answers.  Especially if those answers come from the President and his Regime.

Follow the link for more on how the Federal Government is hindering the clean up with non-sensical adherence to minute rules and regulations.

Then think about what we could be doing if the government would get out of the way.  Remember, it was the President's Chief of Staff that intoned "Never let a crisis go to waste."  Apparently, they intend to make the most of this one regardless of the harm to the environment.
