The Agitator-in-Chief

The Agitator-in-Chief

We have a president that is a community organizer, an agitator, not a leader and his lack of leadership ability shines no more brightly that in the Gulf oil spill. It's not that he doesn't know what to do from a technical standpoint–he wasn't hired as a drilling expert–but that he doesn't know what to do from a leadership standpoint. Getting angry and yelling "Plug the damn hole!" is not leadership. Excluding an well-known non-government expert in the field from the panel trying to find the solution because it might offend your political base is not leadership. Going on vacation, playing golf and basketball and meeting with championship sports teams is not leadership. Meeting with the elected leadership of the affected states to discuss solutions and overseeing the rapid movement of material and equally rapid cutting of bureaucratic red-tape is leadership.

Unfortunately, Obama doesn't understand the difference. To him it's all about pomp and circumstance and not about the job. It is increasingly clear that he is not interested in working on any issue that does not materially advance his left-wing, socialist agenda.

2012 just can't come around fast enough. But November 2010 is just around the corner and in November we stop Obama, Reid and Pelosi and begin reversing the engine of state so that we can get back on the right track.
