Oracle Paul 'Psychic' Octopus puts Spain, not Germany to WC final

"Just call me Paolo!"

I guarantee you that I am not watching the World Cup. I admit that I just can't get into soccer. I did, however, find the linked story amusing.

It seems there is this oracle octopus that was born in England, but now evidently lives in water-filled tank in Germany, who has now correctly predicted 6 World Cup matches by Germany in a row. The yesterday there was a news item (linked) that said that the octopus, named Paul, had picked Spain in today's World Cup match after having predicted Germany in the previous 5 matches. I just read a post by a friend on Facebook that Spain not only won but dominated Germany.

PETA has issued a demand that Paul be set free but my prediction for Paul is that there is a German-Japanese sushi bar with some soy sauce and grated daikon in his future.
