Obama rejects starting over on health care - Washington Times
This story is a striking example of President Obama's disconnect from the American people. The Democrats lost the Governorship in Virginia, a state that went blue in 2008. The Democrats lost the Governorship in New Jersey, a state that's been blue for many, many years. And finally, the Democrats lost a Senate seat in Massachusetts, the bluest of blue states. Yet the President says he will not start over on Health Care and that negotiations with Republicans must start with the two 2,000+ page bills that were written behind closed doors by only the Democrats.
It's not only an example of disconnect. It's an example of the thinking of a complete ideologue who doesn't care what the American people want. He intends to turn America into a socialist bastion no matter what.
He'd better think again.
