I'm watching the "summit" and there is nothing bi-partisan about it. The liberal-progressive-socialist Democrats are just saying "our bill already does that" to Republican suggestions when we, those who read the bill, know that it does not. The president, his bi-partisan spirit thinly veiling his boredom and partisan views, just calls the Republicans "mistaken" and says that his reading of the CBO's cost estimate is correct and the Republican reading is not. Then he cuts-off the Republicans when they point out areas that they can't support.
There is nothing bi-partisan about the liberal-progressive-socialist presence at the summit. It's just political theater.
