New Black Panther leader defends attorney general

New Black Panther leader defends attorney general

Of course he will defend Eric Holder! Holder dismissed the case!

If you don't remember, New Black Panther Party members were videoed wearing military-style clothing and carrying clubs in front of a Philadelphia polling place. They were also accused by witnesses of making intimidating remarks to white voters trying to enter the polling place. The case was termed "the most egregious violation of the voting rights act" that one veteran voting rights proponent had ever seen.

Despite overwhelming evidence and the failure of the New Black Panther Party to show up in court, the Department of Justice dismissed the case after the judge had ruled that the defendants were guilty of violating the law.

It is clear that Holder's Justice Department was protecting these violent thugs because the New Black Panther Party was one of the first groups to endorse Barack Obama in his run for the presidency.

No politics there, right?
