They are going to court martial three brave men. I'm opposed to the court martial for the reasons that have been stated in the press; but I don't know the full story. Given, however, that the scum they captured only got a fat lip--and no evidence has been presented to show that he got more than that--then a reasonable man would say that a court martial is considerably more than is called for in this situation. And who is to say that Ahmed Hashim Abed, a trained terrorist leader, is telling the truth especially since it is known that the accusation he makes is right out of the al Qaeda training manual.
No, I don't believe that a court martial is called for at all. They did their job and did it well. They weren't operating in a domestic law enforcement situation and shouldn't be held to that standard at all.
