FOXNews.com - Civil Rights Panel Subpoenas Justice Department in New Black Panthers Case
The Department of Justice continues to refuse to cooperate with the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights as it investigates the dismissal of one of the worst cases of voter intimidation ever caught on camera. The case was initially prosecuted by career federal prosecutors and won; but the Office of the Attorney General inexplicably directed the case be withdrawn before the defendants were sentenced.
The explanation for this is, actually, quite simple. Attorney General Eric Holder practices the Chicago Way which dictates that he protect through any means possible any thuggery that is done on behalf of his boss, President Barack H. Obama. Now he is obstructing the investigation into his own malfeasance by ordering the Assistant U.S. Attorneys who handled the case to ignore the subpoenas issued by the Commission. In doing this he is, in my opinion, either incompetent, criminal or both and deserves to be impeached and removed from office in shame.
Considering the make-up of the House and Senate, impeachment is extremely unlikely at present. Come November 2010 that will change.
