An excellent article on the 2nd Amendment! As an out-and-out conservative, I believe in the author's description of the Constitution as a living document. The modern elitist interpretations, which would be valid only if the Constitution were a dead document, are clearly incorrect and without a true basis. The Constitution was not meant to be interpreted in ways not envisioned by the Framers; indeed, the current ills of our nation stem directly from incorrect, feel good, interpretations of the Constitution by liberal-progressive-socialist politicians and judges.
