As usual Harry Reid is completely disconnected from reality and displays the usual, studied ignorance of liberals. It was the Democrats who clung to slavery and filibustered the Civil Rights Act in 1957 and it is the Democrats who practice enslaving people through economics. Strom Thurmond was a Democrat when he and Robert Byrd helped the Democrat Party filibuster the Civil Rights Act in 1957. Reid is totally partisan and totally out of touch not only with reality but with what America needs. And typical of liberal-progressive-socialists, he reinterprets history to suit his party's needs.
He needs a new job and with his background he's fully qualified to clean restrooms in Las Vegas.
