As Long as Harry Reid Raises the Subject...

Harry Reid is a liberal-progressive–socialist's perfect role model for a government functionary à la 1984. Dour, monotonous, pedantic and not overly bright but totally committed to expanding government power over individuals and limiting individual freedom. That he is not "overly bright" is best demonstrated by his effort to cast the race card at the feet of the Republican opposition to Obamacare. Now, there are some Republicans in that group that are as vile as Harry Reid--although none surpass him–-but the race card? Like the antagonist in 1984, Reid believes that he can change history with just a speech and that history is his alone to interpret. To be honest, in that attitude he is a clear reflection of the attitude of all liberal-progressive-socialists. They have gotten away with changing history so many times in the past that they feel it is their right to interpret history any way they need to in order to make it fit the moment. Witness John Kerry trying to change history with his claim to have been in Cambodia on Christmas Eve during the Vietnam War or his lies during the "Winter Soldier" hearings that he now conveniently brushes over. So it is with all liberal-progressive-socialists.

My hope is that the good people of Nevada are as sick of Harry Reid as the rest of the nation. He actions in Washington, DC, have fully qualified him to be a men's room attendant in Las Vegas. I'm sure SEIU will allow him to join.
