John Murtha Dead at 77

Abscam John Murtha, the Member of Congress and former Marine who wrongly accused Marines in the War on Terror of murder and other depredations;  the King of Pork for his district in Pennsylvania;  the man who barely escaped prison by testifying against other politicians in the Abscam investigation; the anything for a buck Representative who was proud of it, is dead at 77 from complications due to gall bladder surgery.  He was a typical Democrat and a liberal-progressive-socialist who believed in big government and the rights of the ruling elite.

I hope he had time, and was willing, to make his peace with our Savior before his death.

I for one will sleep better knowing he is no longer in the House.  May he also rest in peace.
