As I have often said, we should never ask someone to forget where they come from; only to remember where they are. To quote a Swiss citizen from the story: "Forced marriages and other things like cemeteries separating the pure and impure — we don't have that in Switzerland, and we do not want to introduce it."
The Swiss have the right idea.
