American Thinker: Americans are messaging each other 'S.O.S.'

American Thinker: Americans are messaging each other 'S.O.S.'

In truth the issue is less one of Republican vs. Democrat than one of "we the people" don't like what Washington is doing and Washington won't listen.

I'm reminded of a famous video of Congressman John "Abscam" Murtha, while acting as the Speaker of the House in 2007, blatantly cheating during a vote on the House floor. Even though the "Nays" were clearly the majority, he ruled the "Ayes" won. That is the problem in Washington and with the Washington mentality today. The majority of Americans don't like what they are doing yet the Congressmen and Senators pretend that they are the majority.

We must remember this the next election.
