This is in preparation for rationing, of course. And rationing will come. There is no way around rationing given the way government has to budget for its services.

With rationing will come lines and waiting periods. There are no ways around lines and waiting periods given the way that rationing works.

And with rationing, lines and waiting periods, comes a rise in death rates from things like breast cancer, cervical cancer and prostate cancer. There are no ways around an increased death rate given rationing, lines and waiting periods all of which combined defeat the needed testing that we now take for granted in America. (In Britain you are much more likely to die from any cancer, but especially the three I've named, than in the United States. The system that is being proposed will mimic not-so-Great Britain's.)

But Democrats do not care. I repeat that: Democrats DO NOT CARE. They care only about changing our country from a republic into a country where an enlightened political elite (read Democrats) rule over the proletariat (read us).

I've now read just over 500 torturous pages of the proposed health care monstrosity. It is clear to me that they made it that large on purpose because there are so many onerous provisions in the bill that if they were taken up separately none could pass. And no one, save the authors (and maybe not even them), can read and understand the bill in its' entirety without extensive study and research. As it stands we can only pick out those parts that seem especially bad and highlight them. There are others, I am sure, that are hidden away in bill that wouldn't be discovered until an unnamed, unaccountable bureaucrat acts to enforce those specific provisions.

One of the main overriding concerns I have is the effect on our economy. With the government effectively taking over 1/6th of our economy and having a track record of being unable to properly run any type of "business" venture, what I foresee is an overloaded government in danger of collapsing under its own weight. Indeed, there is a belief in some circles that overloading the system to bring about a collapse is the goal of the Administration and its' allies for that is the only way to really fundamentally change our nation.

I urge you all to write your Senators and demand, not urge, that they vote against this bill. It is not good for you. It is not good for me. It is not good for America.
