The Competing Narratives of Barry and Sarah

The Competing Narratives of Barry and Sarah

This is an excellent comparison of the stories of two people: One who is the president and one who may be the president in 4 years. A well-read friend who has read both books commented that while Obama's Dreams is dark and negative, Palin's Rogue is uplifting and a more compelling story.

With the reviews by the Main Stream Media in I suspect those who have been quoted negatively with respect to Rogue are afflicted with a most shallow intellect. As my mother used to say, "You don't think he became a TV announcer because he was smart, do you? All he does is read what other people have done." My mother's view is, I have found, as remarkably appropriate in this day and age as it was in 1960. Wisdom does stand the test of time.

Now about the 11 "fact-checkers that AP has assigned to Dreams...oh, I'm sorry. They haven't assigned any? But Bill Ayers has admitted writing that book so why don't they check the facts?
