Hoyer: Americans don't care about process of health care legislation - Water Cooler - Washington Times

Hoyer makes a serious and extremely stupid mistake in saying that "real Americans" don't care and "won't make a distinction" about how Obamacare is passed in the House as a way of justifying the use of the "Slaughter Rule." With this statement he easily qualifies as one of the most odious men in government and not deserving of respect from real Americans.

We do care and we care about our Constitution which requires a vote on the bill and not on the rule. The fact that the rule has been used before is not germane as a prior violations of the Constitution do not justify continued defiance of the Constitution. And that is what Hoyer is promoting: Defying the Constitution. If he supports this unconstitutional act it says more about Hoyer, who swore to uphold and defend the Constitution, than it does about the American people. It identifies him as a total idiot and a treasonous danger to the nation. I hope that the people of Maryland take notice of this and turn him out of office the next time he comes up for election.

There is no doubt that the "Slaughter Rule," if used, will be challenged before the Supreme Court. There is also no doubt that the Court will rule against this attempt at tyranny.
