She Ran to Gunfire, and Ended It

Surprisingly, from the liberal New York Times, a nice article about a true law enforcement heroine. It is my seasoned judgement, however, that she is more the rule than the exception in law enforcement. From day-one we are trained to go towards the gunfire, not away from it. She did what she was trained to do, mentally prepared to do, had to do.

Thank God for people like her.
