The liberal-progressive-socialist Democrats have been laboring so hard over the past few weeks to cast themselves as victims in the wake of the passage of Obamacare.  The hypocrisy of this would be overwhelming if it wasn't such a standard operating procedure for the left.  They have long–since the 1960s–loved to throw a rock then turn on the cameras and cry pitifully to their supporters in the Left Stream Media when the police respond.

If we leave the Republican Party to the likes of Lindsay Graham and other RINOs its fate shall not be as kind as during the generation in which it was born. What is called for is not a Quisling-like collaboration with the liberal-progressive-socialists of the Democrat Party but a clear stand on principles without backing down. There should be no cooperation with Democrats on areas like energy policy or education. Nor should any of Obama's nominees to the courts be approved. The Democrats forced through a law in clear opposition to the wishes of the American people. If the Republicans will not stand in support of We the People, then it is time for a new party.

Rubio joins GOP concern over drilling plan - Washington Times

There are good, solid reasons to look at the drilling plan–actually it's an "exploration plan"–with a jaundiced eye. Despite Dick Morris telling Bill O'Reilly that he thinks that Obama was serious about opening part of the East Coast and the Gulf of Mexico to off-shore drilling,

Obama's track record is replete with him saying one thing then orchestrating a different outcome with behind the scenes actions. It is also notable that the off-shore areas, with the exception of the Gulf, that have the best proven oil reserves are not included. California and Alaska have some of the greatest reserves around and they are still shut out. This is most unfortunate in the case of California as opening drilling off the West Coast could go a long way towards helping California through its financial crisis and they could surely use an oil boom. Additionally, in the last several months, oil drilling leases in Wyoming where the reserves are over a trillion barrels of oil have been quietly cancelled by the federal government. I can't help but wonder why the Federal Government would do that if they seriously wanted to expand production.

With that in mind, I would look for some very onerous regulations to be promulgated by the EPA in the next few months which will make development of the oil fields in the newly open areas almost, in not completely, cost prohibitive. This will be done by executive fiat with little or no negative comment allowed in the regulatory hearings and it is necessary so that Obama can placate his base.

Obama's end-game is passage of Cap & Trade so I would also expect that Obama will try to use this to push along Cap & Trade in the Senate. He will try to break the Republican block in the Senate by courting RINOs and labeling any who are against Cap & Trade as partisan citing his opening "vast areas" of the nation's coast line and the Gulf to further exploration as an example of his trying to reach across the aisle. It is, of course, a complete farce and political theater. Marco Rubio, whom I hope is the next Senator from Florida, is already voicing skepticism which shows that he has the maturity and acumen to see through the liberal-progressive-socialist smoke screen. It also shows that he recognizes Obama as the Saul Alinsky-trained radical that he most certainly is.

They couch their language with high-sounding words like "democratic," "openness" and "inclusiveness" when they are anything but. Their efforts are cleverly concealed in lawyer-like terminology within bills that they rush through state legislatures encouraged by the high-handed manner in which the national House of Representatives and Senate acted in passing Obamacare. Their goal is clear: To create a one-party rule with which they will rule as the ruling elite to establish a socialist state. This is the fundamental change promised by Barack Obama.

American Thinker: The Left's Ludicrous Accusations against Tea Partiers

To anyone who really thinks about the question, and the Left Stream Media certainly doesn't, almost all violent acts come from within, and is encourage by, the mainstream left while those few violent acts on the right are clearly from the fringe and not condoned by any conservative or any conservative media. (Not that, outside of talk radio, there is a true conservative media. Fox News does present both sides, however, so it is at least "Fair and Balanced." It is the liberal-progressive-socialist Democrats, like Code Pink, who strive to jump into the headlines with acts of violence and protest but then they turn around and point their collective fingers at the right for any act or word that can be perceived as violent. And that's even if they have to make the whole thing up or stage it themselves as did Nancy Pelosi and the Congressmen in their now-famous walk through the Tea Party to cast votes for Obamacare.

These accusations wouldn't stand if there were true journalists doing the reporting but anyone who thinks that there are any true journalists left in the Left Stream Media is believing in a fairy tale. They've all been gone for decades.

The Left Stream Media has has a lip-lock on President Obama's posterior since the primary season. It has been sad to watch the decline of the 3 major networks and NPR but it is of their own doing. The have distanced themselves so far from the people that save for a few entertainment programs, they aren't considered serious in their broadcasts. Especially their national news broadcasts. Gone are the days of Edward R. Murrow for he has been replaced by the mindless idiocy of Chris Matthews. The Left Stream Media is replete with liberal-progressive-socialist sycophants who salivate at the thought of serving the Obama agenda. They long ago quite being journalists and now function as propagandists repeating everything said by the Administration, praising every action taken as manna from Heaven and questioning nothing.  They spend their days complimenting themselves and their colleagues for their faux erudite opinions and positions and have no knowledge of what is really happening in America because their America consists only of 10 second sound bites.  

With the exception of Fox News, the truth is getting exceedingly hard to find.
