Top Democrat defends Reid for remarks - Washington Times

The racism of the Democrat party is really quite clear to those who think about it. They perpetuate slavery through economic means by telling minorities that America is racist and you can't succeed without the government orchestrating your work and welfare which is, of course blatantly false. America is just about the only country where anything is possible for a person who puts his mind to it. Success is truly a matter of hard work and a willingness to try.

Now the facade of racial equality is lifted ever so slightly because of just a "mistake." What we have in the linked story is the report that Harry Reid described then Senator Barack Obama as "light skinned" and "with no Negro dialect, unless he wanted to have one." Then today you have Democratic National Committee Chairman Tim Kaine saying, "I think if you look at the reports as I have, it was all in the context of saying positive things about Senator Obama." He followed with, "It definitely was in the context of recognizing in Senator Obama a great candidate and future president."

Think about what Harry Reid said and then what Tim Kaine said. It is "positive" that now President Obama is "light skinned?" It is "positive that he has "no Negro dialect?" And this is not racist?

We are fast approaching the third Monday in January which is designated Martin Luther King, Jr., Day. It is a day when we recall the speeches and words of that great leader of the Civil Rights movement and one of his greatest speeches contained the following line, "I have a dream that my four children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character." Clearly, in light of Harry Reid and Tim Kaine, Dr. King's dream has yet to be fulfilled.

The Democrats have long claimed Dr. King as their icon. The words of Harry Reid and Tim Kaine uttered in 2010 belie that claim and show the truth behind the Democrat's facade of racial equality and equity. Both should resign from public service immediately. Neither will, of course, because liberal-progressive-socialists are immune from accusations of racism because they are from the ruling elite.

Yeah. Right.
