We are told time and again that the Islamic terrorists represent only 10% of Islam. If that is true, considering it is estimated that there are over 1 billion Muslims in the world, then there are only about 100 million that are waging war on the West. The question that puzzles liberal-progressive-socialists, however, is why they are waging war on the West and they have come to the conclusion that it must have been something that the West did (our policy towards Israel, perhaps?) that provoked Muslims to wage violent jihad.

This pollyanna view of the world is extremely dangerous and threatens our safety. The truth is that Islamic terrorists are waging violent jihad against America and the West because they live with a 12th century world-view that demands they conquer the world, force Islam on all peoples and establish an Islamic caliphate to rule the world. It's as simple as that and not a significantly different plan than that of Adolf Hitler, Hideki Tojo or Joseph Stalin all of whom wanted to dominate the entire world.

If the Obama Administration weren't so desperately trying to "fundamentally change" America into a socialist paradise then maybe they'd have time to recognize the actual threat that we face.
