Anti-Whaling Group Files Piracy Complaint Against Japanese Whalers - International News | News of the World | Middle East News | Europe News - FOXNews.com
While I take no position pro or con on the issue of whaling in international waters, we continue to suffer the obnoxiously aggressive groups that provoke confrontation in their quest to "save the whales." All indications are that the Ady Gil was the aggressor and not the whaling vessel. They are no better than terrorists on the high seas and if anyone is the pirate in this matter, it is the people from the Sea Shepherd Society. The proper venue for the fight is in the international courts based on the actual whaling and not trumping-up charges of piracy when you purposely get your own bow sheared-off in a collision that you caused.
These people are, in my humble opinion, dangerous environmental nuts who value animals over human life.
