This report is from CNN and considering that Congress currently enjoys the lowest approval rating in history with only 11% of the people trusting them, Charlie "el Tuna" Rangel has to be sweating.  If he was able to discredit a House that 89% of America thinks stinks then he has really done something.

We shouldn't be surprised at Charlie Rangel's willingness to skirt the laws that he helped write.  After all, as a life-long Neo-Lib Democrat he did not expect that those rules would apply to him.

Mike Kernell, was convicted of felony obstruction of justice and faces a maximum of 20 years in prison.  It is good to see the spoiled off-spring of those who promote this kind of societal misbehavior having to stand before the bar of justice.  Too bad he wasn't raised to understand the meaning of ethics.  As of now he's a convicted felon.

I wonder if President Obama will pardon him?

Of course Eric Holder's Justice Department is refusing to cooperate with the Civil Rights Commission! The New Black Panther Party was one of the first supporters of his boss, Barack Obama, and the Chicago Way dictates that they be protected.

In addition, it is becoming eminently clear that in the minds of the Obama Regime, the law in question could only be violated if the offenders were white. In their wisdom, blacks cannot violate the voting rights of others thus are exempt from prosecution.

I wonder what other laws that the Obama Regime believes are dependent on race? Wasn't Obama supposed to be the first post-racial president and the great uniter?

I guess not. In fact he has taken steps to polarize racial issues (remember Cambridge?) and clearly panders to people on the basis of race.

Former NSA official allegedly leaked material to media

As I was growing up on a farm and ranch operation in southern Idaho, my father, a wise man despite his scant formal education, inculcated me with some basic, yet serious, philosophical ethics guidance for life.  I didn't take it too seriously then because my father wasn't the type of man to pontificate on anything.  He would just quietly state his case or make a comment then go on about the business at hand.

One of the things he taught me was the importance of loyalty: Loyalty to co-workers, friends, family, country and God.  He did this with many small comments during my formative years and one that I remember best was: "Ride for the brand or ride."

A simple statement of ethics comprised of just six words; but one of great import.  It means that you must be loyal to those you work for or quit the job, face-to-face, and walk away.  It's a simple idea but one that some people just don't understand.

To begin with, we aren't talking "whistleblower" here.  We're talking about those who act to derail policy decisions because they disagree with them.  For too long we have tolerated those who let their personal political beliefs take precedence and break their oaths by leaking classified information to the press.   Anyone who does that should be prosecuted to the full extent of the law because such leaks endanger all Americans.

During my long career in government I saw many who had never learned this lesson and I was always perplexed at how they could denigrate the organization they worked for yet still accept the paycheck it provided.  It certainly said then, and still does, more about their own lack of character than it does about the problems they were describing in their agency.  Remember that the next time you see an unidentified, masked or backlit person on the Left Stream Media TV using an electronically altered voice as they spout-off about governmental wrong doing.  Ask yourself the two questions:

     1. If he feels so strongly about this, why doesn't he face the camera and identify himself? and,
     2. If he won't identify himself, is he really an expert on the material or is his expertise "self-certified?"

This is clearly not the type of "adult" that should be teaching middle school students and helping form their character.  And it's not about his politics; but, his lack of ethics.  His attitude that he has the right to prevent others from exercising their free right of assembly and political speech and encouraging others to do the same is completely unethical.  We aren't talking about an emotional college student who gets carried away with his own fervor for a cause.  We are talking about an adult, a teacher, that is supposed to be teaching children how to act as responsible adults and imparting ethics (which is hard to do when you have none).  We are talking about someone who is clearly willing to violate the most basic political rights of others being in charge of guiding impressionable children and helping them understand and inculcate the ideals upon which this country was founded.

It's not his particular political persuasion (clearly "liberal-progressive-socialist-idiot") but his lack of ethics and demonstrated willingness to deny others their Constitutional rights that makes him unfit to be a teacher.  This is the type of person that can justify, in his own mind indoctrinating rather than teaching.  This is the type of person that believes the end justifies the means thus violating the rights of others is of no import.  Only results and his own rights matter.  The ethics of civil discourse do not.

History teaches us that under National Socialism it was considered perfectly ethical to deny others certain rights especially if they were not members of the National Socialist Party and pure German.  I call this situational ethics and under the situational ethics of the socialists, only the rights of the socialists were important while others, deemed less worthy, were denied those same rights.  We fought a great war to defeat National Socialism which was hoped would end the unethical abuse espoused by that evil and murderous regime.  But that did not inoculate us from the same disease under a different guise.  If we fail to recognize the dangers of situational ethics we are doomed to repeat history.

You can be certain that his defense will be that it is his "right" to have his own political views.  And that is true to a point.  But what he demonstrated was not his radical political views, but his immature willingness (if not immature it would be evil willingness and I leave that choice to you) to obstruct, and encourage others to obstruct, the rights of others in furtherance of those radical political views.  This adherence to situational ethics makes him unfit to teach or to be in charge of the children.

Question...we have registries nation-wide for pedophiles and sex-offenders so do we also need a registry for unethical-radical-liberal-idiots?  Just wondering.

Obama has had an extremely hard time filling this very important job.  There is no dearth of qualified, ethical individuals that could fill the sensitive and necessary TSA position so either Obama or his Administration is using a flawed process based on flawed ethical, professional or personnel considerations; or those who are qualified and ethical are quietly declining to take a job under Obama given the manner in which he governs and the ease with which he lies.

Either way, considering the ideological radicalism of many of those already appointed by Obama, I do not believe that any of his nominees should, in the future, escape a rigorous Advise and Consent process.  This is, of course, a given considering the completely partisan manner in which Dingy Harry Reid has conducted business in the Senate and the arrogance of the liberal-progressive-socialist Democrats.

I suppose this is normal in Chicago after all, that's why they call it The Chicago Way. But there is something exceedingly unseemly and unethical about this appointment. Imagine, you need a Congressman's vote for your pet project that just happens to allow the government to take control of 1/6th of the American economy so you appoint his brother to a coveted Federal Appeals Court position. Now the brother could be the most qualified person for the job but normal common sense and ethics would say, "Don't go there!" because it just doesn't pass the smell test. It's as if the president does not care what the people think. It's his attitude of Noblesse Oblige that rules the day as evidenced by his multiple statements of "I am the President." And as the president he will do whatever it takes to get what he wants.

Somewhat dictatorial if you ask me. But as we look at the 800 lb. jackass (nothing personal there...it's simply the symbol of the Democrat Party) in the room we have to ask ourselves, just what is it that this jackass wants?

Look at his upbringing. Look at his friends. Look at his minister--until he threw him under the bus to get elected. Look at the campaign promises that he has broken and look what he's done and is doing to the deficit. And then look to the future of our children and grandchildren in a country that has an unsustainable debt owed to those who would like to see us in the Third World.

The answer is there.
