That the politicized Department of Justice is unresponsive to requests made under the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) is to be expected considering the partisan atmosphere fostered by Eric Holder and his political appointees.  He is an absolute disgrace and should resign but he won't. His focus is exactly where Obama wants:  Use the institution to diminish the nation that it is supposed to serve.

Why the Black Panther Case Matters

There has been no more egregious failure to uphold the mission of the Department of Justice in its history than the handling of the New Black Panther Case by Attorney General Eric Holder.  Actually, I should say non-handling for Holder has purposely failed in his duties and is a disgrace to a legal profession that already has a notoriously low standard for conduct.

The man, if he had any honor, would resign.  But we all know that he is committed to protecting his boss and those who support his boss.  To do so requires that he ignore justice and act only on politics.

It's clear that Obama's way is the Chicago Way.  Friends and supporters of Obama are protected by Holder's Justice Department.  Even worse, the attitude of the Department of Justice is that racial consideration (it's called racism anywhere else) is an integral and necessary part of the decision making process in the Civil Rights section of the Department.

Justice, Denied

We now have a Republican House and January must be the beginning of the end of Eric Holder's criminal-like mismanagement of the Department of Justice.  That being said, it is not only Eric Holder who needs to answer for egregious favoritism in enforcing the law for what has happened in the Civil Rights Division reference the refusal to defend the right of all citizens to vote, including the New Black Panther case, is either favoritism based on ethnicity or abysmal ignorance.  I, for one, do not believe that the people at the DoJ are ignorant.  I believe that they are simply amoral racists who deserve the harshest punishment possible.

Dispute over New Black Panthers case causes deep divisions

"We are in power and our peeps at Justice and the White House won't let anything happen to us."

In an article that can't be good news for the Obama Regime and especially Eric Holder, the Washington Post belatedly delves into the disgraceful handling of the New Black Panther case by the Department of Justice.

What is shocking is that the WaPo has actually written a fairly middle-of-the-road article and did some research that supports the testimony that was given before the U.S. Civil Rights Commission.  It clearly doesn't favor Holder or the White House and surprisingly it comes less than two weeks before an election where things don't look good for the liberal left.

It is, of course, way too early to say that the WaPo has seen the light and is returning to the center-left editorial policy that once made it a must read if you wanted to know what was happening in Washington, DC.  But still, it is refreshing to see some actual reportage coming out of that paper, albeit many, many months late.

Washington Times EDITORIAL: Surrendering military votes

"What do you mean I won't be able to vote in this election?"

The abject failure of the Department of Justice to take speedy action in support of military voters is a direct result of the policies and politics of Eric Holder and Barack Obama.  They see no profit for themselves in allowing the military to vote if it can be avoided for those votes would almost certainly be for Conservative, rather than über liberal, candidates.  They would rather continence fraud and lies that prevent the military voting block from exercising the rights that they so clearly deserve while tacitly allowing their allies in the community organizing sector to register those who don't have that right to vote but will reliably vote "Democrat."

And don't forget the reprehensible actions by Obama's political appointees at Justice who dismissed a voter intimidation case against Obama's allies in the New Black Panther Party.  Winning by any means, even if those means are illegal, is all that matters to Obama and the Democrats.

Holder has not been held accountable for his despicable leadership because of the absolute control of the Democrat Party in Congress.  We can and must change that come November 2.

Not Even Clouseau Could Make Panthers Disappear

"What New Black Panthers?  We've never heard of that case."

I've been following the New Black Panther case for months now and the only conclusion that any thinking person can draw is that the Attorney General and his people are trying to cover-up their own racism.  Like most Neo-Lib Democrats they are of the firm belief that racism can only be present among whites and nothing that is done by blacks, Latinos or Asians can be considered racism.  And besides, if you got them to sit down over a drink there is no doubt that they would end up telling you that "It's OUR turn to be in control and we're going to make things run OUR way."

It takes a very small mind to believe that racism is only one way.  It takes an even smaller mind to believe that government officials should be thinking that it is "OUR turn" to do anything.  But that's clearly what we've got in Eric Holder.

Mayor Bloomberg Slams Board of Elections for Failure to Mail Military Ballots

"What do you mean I 'wont' get to vote?'"

Mayor Bloomberg, a golfing buddy of President Obama, has in this case raised a valid point:  The Obama Regime has given short shrift to law enforcement unless that enforcement reinforces one of its political goals.  Having the military vote in the coming mid-term elections will not boost Obama's fortunes and would, quite likely, be to the Regime's disadvantage therefore Eric Holder's Department of Justice just can't find the time nor energy to enforce the MOVE Act.

The despicable nature of this callous disregard of the law is plain for all to see but what can we expect from a former community organizer who would rather rule than govern?  Clearly the law has been violated in New York among other places but Obama could care less.  And you will see no outrage in the Left Stream Media, either, for they have no respect for the rights of the people who serve because those people are more likely to vote conservative than Democrat.

Black Panther case: Red hot

These are some of Holder's and Obama's "peeps."

The linked editorial rightly skewers Assistant Attorney General Thomas E. Perez for his misleading–a politically correct way of saying he lied–testimony before the U.S. Civil Rights Commission.  Misstatements of the type made by Perez are sufficient enough to present a Giglio (Giglio v. United States, 405 U.S. 150, 153 U.S. 1972) problem for any law enforcement officer, and could well lead to their dismissal from law enforcement employment.  After all, what good is a law enforcement officer when they have been caught lying under oath.


But wait!  Wasn't Perez' testimony under oath.  Has his testimony now been impeached?  Absolutely.  Like Bill Clinton, Tom Perez has become a lawyer whose word while under oath is worthless.  Perez, however, is not the problem.  That stems from Eric Holder whom I believe is the worst Attorney General in the history of our nation.  It is highly improbable that Perez acted without the knowledge or approval of Holder as that just isn't done at that level in the government.  Holder  clearly bears the responsibility for this fiasco and he should be in the hot seat along with Perez.

Also of interest is Loretta King, the supervisor of the Voter Rights section, who now stands accused of actively blocking any enforcement of the voter rights laws if the victim is white.  This is sometimes called "reverse discrimination" but there is nothing reverse about it.  Racial discrimination is discrimination based on the color of one's skin and the idea that only white people can discriminate is non-sensical and the product of very twisted and demented minds.  Neo-Lib Democrats are the main promoters of such discriminatory practices because it assists in their goal of pitting races and classes against each other to facilitate their acquisition of power.  I'm not sure what Ms. King's politics are but it is clear that she favors an interpretation of the law that is not consistent with either the intent of the law or Congress' stated purpose when it was passed.

As the editorial says, now let us see just how fast the Department of Justice moves to clean out the racists who have come to occupy the positions of power in the Civil Rights section.  It can't be soon enough.

These are issues to contemplate this coming November.  The reason that the Holder Department of Justice has acted in such a blatantly discriminatory manner is because they could.  The Neo-Lib Democrats currently hold commanding majorities in both houses of Congress and Holder, et al., know that with that power they can act with impunity for nothing will be done by Congress to stop their egregious actions.

We can change that this November and in doing so restore some of the integrity that the Department of Justice has lost in the last two years.

Eric Holder - the epitome of disgrace.

This is appalling!  Eric Holder is a disgrace to the office of the Attorney General.  If he was honorable and ethical he would resign immediately but clearly, in my humble opinion, he is neither.  He has perverted justice and should be removed by impeachment as soon as possible.  Until he is removed we must watch his actions carefully for he clearly wants to destroy the Department of Justice through politicization.

A nation that has prided itself on being just should not have to suffer such arrogance and stupidity from its Attorney General.

I've said many times that Eric Holder is not fit for the job he holds. That he was seated by the consent of the Senate is less a stamp of approval for him than a demonstration of the increasing fallibility of the Senate as constituted since the passage of the ill-conceived 17th Amendment.

There is no doubt that the suit by the Justice Department is a specious and political act by the Obama Regime that deserves to fail on many levels but most importantly because it serves less the cause of justice and more the anti-American programs of an increasingly unpopular president.  Barack Obama doesn't have either the character or the ability to fill the shoes of Sheriff Joe and for Obama to sue in this manner is the epitome of hardball, Chicago-style gangland politics used by the Regime.

Of course Eric Holder's Justice Department doesn't want to ensure that service members get to vote.  They know that most service members are conservative and they are willing to write-off the liberal minority vote from the military in favor of denying the conservative majority their right to have their say.

And their hands are full, anyway, protecting the New Black Panthers and other Neo-Lib Democrat operatives as they work to further the goals of Obama.

Founding Member of Abu Sayyaf Group Pleads Guilty to 1995 Hostage Taking Involving U.S. and Philippine Citizens

Good news for the day.

While I criticize the Holder Justice Department for its politicization, this case, which pre-dated the current Regime, was successfully prosecuted. Kudos to the DOJ on this one.

That being said, I would have liked to have seen a life without parole sentence, but the wheels of justice sometimes require plea agreements in order that they move smoothly and this was one of those times.

For those of you who don't recognize this terrorist organization, the Abu Sayyaf Group has been a thorn in the side of the Philippine government since the late 1980s. They've been responsible for kidnappings, murders and mayhem in the southern Philippines. They were the group responsible for the kidnapping of American missionaries Martin and Gracia Burnham in May of 2001. Martin died in the rescue attempt that freed Gracia and if you haven't read her book, In the Presence of My Enemies, I would strongly recommend it. 

The Abu Sayyaf is best described as a terrorist group that profits from bank robberies, murder, rape and pillage. They profess Islam and their founder, Abdurajak Abubakar Janjalani was born in a Christian-Muslim family in Mindanao and joined the Afghan jihad against the Russians. When he returned to the Philippines he was a committed Islamic extremist bent on jihad against the Philippine government and all Christians.

The Abu Sayyaf Group was borne of his jihad, but it must be remembered that Islamic lawlessness in Mindanao is not a new development. The first U.S. military expeditions to Mindanao were on the heals of the Spanish-American War when the United States seized the Philippines from the Spaniards. General John J. "Blackjack" Pershing was moved to lead an expedition to quell the kidnapping of Americans in Mindanao at the beginning of the 20th century. It is true that history does repeat itself.

DOJ Accused of Stalling on MOVE Act for Voters in Military

Eric Holder's DOJ absolutely protects this man's ability to intimidate voters at a polling place.

But they are not at all concerned with protecting this man's ability to vote and have it counted.

That the Department of Justice (DOJ) is ignoring the Military and Overseas Voter Empowerment Act (MOVE...does Congress have a special office to come up with names for bills that result in slick acronyms?  Just wondering...) should be no surprise considering that Attorney General Eric Holder is clearly the worst Attorney General in American history.  Holder is clearly a political ideologue dedicated to carrying out Obama'a leftist agenda regardless of his oath of office.  This translates into a studied incompetence rather than one of inability for Holder clearly can act with great dispatch when it comes to freeing Puerto Rican terrorists from jail as he did under the Clinton Administration.   His incompetence, therefore, is not borne of ignorance but of ideology.

Historically, civilians working overseas are, generally, pretty evenly split when it comes to political beliefs.    Having spent over 17 years in Southeast Asia I have seen the political gatherings of expat Democrats and Republicans and they are, by and large, pretty even in numbers so disenfranchising them would generally not affect an election either way.  But that being said, there is a new dynamic that must be considered in an era when we have a large portion of our military overseas accompanied and supported by an even larger group of civilians.  This grouping of military and those civilians who have actively sought employment overseas in support of the military are decidedly conservative in their views.  They are not monolithic by any means but they are much more likely to vote for a conservative politician, i.e., a Republican, than for a Democrat.

Is it any wonder then, that Eric Holder's DOJ is quietly trying to ignore the MOVE Act?  There are races in the coming mid-term election in states that should be considered deep blue that will be decided by slim margins so we know that the Attorney General wouldn't approve of any action that would facilitate voter fraud or deny voters a chance to vote when they are overseas in the service of our nation.  We know that, don't we?  Not hardly.

What We the People know is that Eric Holder will not allow the DOJ to work to ensure fair elections.  We the People know that Eric Holder's DOJ does not believe in protecting the right of all citizens to vote regardless of the color of their skin.  We the People know that Eric Holder's DOJ is operating under rules that protect the President's friends and supporters and attack the President's opposition.

We must vote this November and end the one-party rule that has enabled the Neo-Lib Democrats to ignore the Constitution and put this nation on the road to socialism.  We must vote this November to end the ability of the Eric Holder's of Obama's Regime to act with impunity as they try to force Obama's leftist agenda down the throats of the American people.  Once we end the one-party rule, We the People can force Congress to impeach Holder for his disgraceful actions, and even more disgraceful inactions, as Attorney General.  We the People can force Congress to bring all the President's Czars under control by defunding their positions and the positions of their staffs.  We the People have the opportunity this November to retake control of our out-of-control Government.  Let us not ignore that opportunity.

The latest quote from the short guy is something about "killing cracker babies" but of course this is acceptable to the NAACP.  What isn't acceptable is anyone associated with the Tea Party because they oppose President Obama on his policies rather than his race.

Contrary to what Eric Holder's "Just Us" Department things, racism is not something that only white people do.  And despite have elected Barack Obama to the Presidency, we will never be able to truly enter a post racial America until it is acknowledged that all racism is hideous regardless of the perpetrator.  As Dr. King said, we should judge people by their character rather than the color of their skin; but that is not the case at either the DOJ or the USDA.

At least the racist in the linked story was fired from her job.  How long until all racists are forced out of government?

Only Eric Holder's Department of Justice could come up with a statement as exquisitely stupid as this one.  That Holder is the worst Attorney General in history is no longer in doubt.  This November, despite the Justice Department's support for voter intimidation by the New Black Panthers, we have the opportunity to vote the Democrats out of office and regain control of the House and Senate.  Once that is done, Holder can be forced to do his job or be impeached.

Who Will Investigate the Investigators?

An excellent article from the Wall Street Journal that highlights the politicization of the Department of Justice and its descent from honor.  While Eric Holder is the one who is issuing the orders in the end it is Barack Obama who is responsible.  Instead of being the one to end racial animosity, Obama has purposely increased racial conflict and racism for purely political reasons.

Eric Holder's incompetence is well documented as is Obama's.  Both have egregiously violated their oaths of office.  This November we will have an opportunity change the leadership in Congress.  If we do so, Congress can then begin correcting the course of the Department of Justice through hearings, investigations and the budgetary process.  If we are lucky, the outcome will be either Holder's resignation or removal and a return to an equal enforcement of the law at the Department of Justice.

The linked article contains shocking testimony that reveals the total politicization of the Civil Rights section of the Department.  As you read it and the Justice Department's reply it is good to remember that unlike the blanket statement given by Holder's spokesperson, the testimony is under oath.

Bartle Bull reacts to former DOJ attorney on Black Panther case "Obama is a hustler"

My good friend, Gary at fousesquawk (garyfouse.blogspot.com) brought this to my attention as I was out and missed Megyn Kelly’s interview with Bartle Bull, a Civil Rights activist whose history in the civil rights movement goes back to the 1960s. He is one of the true patriots of the civil rights movement and put his life on the line then to ensure that all Americans could vote. I’ve no doubt that he would do the same today and for the petty thugs of the New Black Panther movement to think that they could intimidate him is laughable.

Eric Holder is the Attorney General who is responsible for this travesty. He is clearly a disgrace to the office of Attorney General and to the law. Barack Obama has obviously given the green light to Holder thus shares that disgrace. What we are seeing is a true picture of the Neo-Lib Democrats and their disdain for the law unless it can be used to bolster their political agenda. In other words, they have taken The Chicago Way national. The Left Stream Media, i.e., the New York Times, the Washington Post, CNN, NBC, CBS, ABC, have all abdicated their responsibility to report this outrage and ensure that the American public is fully informed. They thus share in the disgrace.

The question still stands unanswered. What did the President know and when did he know it? Until Eric Holder is fired or impeached–and I’m betting on the latter–we are unlikely to get an answer.

Isn’t it time you wrote your Representative and Senators and told them to ask the question?
