Judge Permits Virginia Health Care Law Challenge to Continue

The Department of Justice loses the first round!  This is a small step in the right direction for all Americans and the journey is sure to end at the Supreme Court where there will be, I predict, a 5-4 ruling in favor of Virginia.

Pelosi, Reid and Obama are sure to be dismayed by this ruling and even though they will put up a good face, you and I both know that they were hoping against hope that they could quash the Virginia challenge quickly so as to take the wind from the sails of the challenge in Florida.

David Kernell, son of Tennessee Democrat Party Rep. Mike Kernell, was convicted of felony obstruction of justice and faces a maximum of 20 years in prison.  It is good to see the spoiled off-spring of those who promote this kind of societal misbehavior having to stand before the bar of justice.  Too bad he wasn't raised to understand the meaning of ethics.  As of now he's a convicted felon.

I wonder if President Obama will pardon him?

Court to FCC: There are Limits to Your Power

The Obama Regime has to be smarting after this smack-down. They were counting on using the FCC to control the internet's speech and now they'll have to get Congress to authorize the FCC to do what it was trying to do through executive fiat.

I'm sure that Obama is thinking how much easier it would be to get things going his way if he didn't have to worry about the Courts or Congress when it came to making rules.

This was something that was watched with great interest considering the efforts of the Obama Regime to insert unelected czars at key places in the government to help in achieving their ultimate goal of transforming our nation from a Republic of free citizens to a state-controlled, socialist state. The court ruled properly in this case but We the People must exert the power of the ballot box this coming November in order to ensure that our Republic is preserved.
