Environmental Protection Agency considering a ban on lead ammunition | Washington Examiner
Environmental Protection Agency considering a ban on lead ammunition | Washington Examiner
Let's remember this on November 2. And among the marching orders given to those who we elect will be: cut the funding of the over-reaching EPA back to the point that the entire agency can fit in a double-wide trailer house located right next to the Arizona-Mexico border. But not enough that they can afford air-conditioning or telephone service.

Breitbart.tv » Congressman at Town Hall: ‘The Federal Government Can Do Most Anything in This Country’
Rep. Peter Stark (D-CA) is one of the sorriest excuses for an elected official in a House full of sorry. Stark is no stranger to high-handed, "I'm-in-the-ruling-elite-so-you-shut-up" type of remarks. You've got to see this and hear the words come out of his mouth. It is shameful. In a more enlightened age, he'd have been tarred, feathered and run out of town on a rail. Hopefully the people of California will wake up and replace him in Washington.

Anthony "Tony Hotdogs" Weiner Again Channels His Inner Child
Rep. Anthony Weiner (D-NY), aka "Tony Hotdogs," again channels his inner idiot on the floor of the House. He clearly has a high opinion of himself albeit one that is not shared by a large segment of the population as a whole. He does get elected in New York, however, but considering that they also elected Eliot Spitzer, David Paterson and Michael Bloomberg that's not really something to brag about.
You've got to give Tony Hotdogs his due, though. When it comes to being a weenie, he's up there with the best.
Follow the link for more.
By the way, the reason he's upset is that he doesn't have enough support from his Democrat colleagues to pass the bill despite the complete Democrat majority in the House and as he doesn't have the, errrr..."stones" to attack his fellow Democrats, he attacks the Republicans. Class.

Obama Rated One of Best Presidents Ever - Better Than Reagan | NewsBusters.org
"I gots a Nobel Prize coz I ain't George W.! And now they say I am better than Reagan. That's gotta be smart...either that or they are really stupid."
Obama Rated One of Best Presidents Ever - Better Than Reagan | NewsBusters.orgTwo things:
1. I'd never heard of "Siena College" before this survey was announced; and,
2. Where were they able to find 238 "presidential scholars" who are so obviously divorced from reality?
My guess is that it would only be possible to find that many "presidential scholars" who would consistently rate FDR as #1 if your criteria included membership in the Democratic National Committee or another disreputable socialist organization. Certainly no objective scholar would rate the presidents in that manner and to rate Obama that high...well, I can only say they must have been high when they filled out the survey.
I am certainly glad I didn't go to Siena College. Clearly indoctrination, as opposed to education, is the priority there.

EPA: Milk = Oil
Just in case you were wondering who was running the asylum called "The EPA," it is clear that it's the inmates. Only the nerdiest wonk would equate milk with oil and judge it to be an issue that requires federal government intervention.
This is on top of the worst environmental decision of the century by the EPA when it took over a month to deny the State of Louisiana's request to build sand bars in order to protect the wetlands and marshes in the Delta. I can't help but wonder if the decision would have been different if Gov. Bobby Jindal was a Democrat instead of the Conservative Republican that he is. My guess is that the Obama Regime quietly delayed action for political reasons. They want to raise taxes to force an artificial change to "alternative energy sources," none of which are commercially viable while standing alone. That means, of course, that we are about to embark on an energy policy that eclipses, in gross stupidity, that of President Jimmy Carter.
President Carter wasn't available for comment however I've been told that he's been smiling a lot lately after having lost the crown of "Worst President" to Obama even before Obama's midterm. Carter is doubly pleased because it took him 3 years to achieve that distinction.
After the next election we need to ensure that the new Congress and Senate addresses the absolute lunacy of the EPA. A lot of money could be saved with its elimination and that's what we should make happen.

Mayor Bloomberg Submits, Sanctions 911 Mega Mosque
"I'll give him this hug but I'm banning these as soon as I can get away with it. I am the über nanny!"
Mayor Bloomberg Submits, Sanctions 911 Mega MosqueUnfortunately, I am sure that won't be the case. Anyone want to bet that it won't be looked upon as an apologetic symbol by the Muslims in the Middle East and South Asia? Anyone want to bet that the building of a mosque adjacent to that hallowed ground will make Osama bin Laden smile? Anyone want to bet that instead of reducing the tensions between Christians, Jews and Muslims, that the building of that mosque will exacerbate those tensions? Anyone want to bet that increasing those tensions is exactly the goal of those who wish to build the mosque there?
I'm sure that the purpose of the mosque is neither an apology for what happened on 9/11 nor a statement by the Islamic community that they condemn what happened. The mosque will probably have an English name that is basically bland. It's Arabic name will be something else, of course. Something like the "Mosque of Victory Over the Infidels" or the "Mosque Commemorating the Martyrdom of the Heroic 19" or the "Mosque of the Da'wah."
And it is clearly a bad idea but a bad idea that is being moved forward on the slickly greased rails of "political correctness." It's not something that is protected by the 1st Amendment for the government and the people of the United States have a vested interest in preserving the sanctity of that location and denial of building permits for that location would not violate the intent of the Founders when they established Freedom of Religion as a tenant of our Constitution. Muslims are free to worship everywhere. But to build an edifice to Islam overlooking the site where, in the name of Islam, over 3,000 innocent men, women and children were murdered is as improper and insulting as it would be if the Japanese opened a gift shop at Pearl Harbor where they sold commemorative "Tora, Tora, Tora" banners or the Germans opened a gift shop next to Auschwitz where they sold lampshades. The idea is as stupid as the people who support it being built.

U.S. police chiefs say Arizona immigration law will increase crime
This is typical propaganda rather than news. When the Regime wants to ensure that the results of any consultation are what they want, they make sure to call in "experts" that represent reliably loyal Neo-Lib Democrat political entities. Not one of the "Chiefs" is from a location that is Republican. They all owe their jobs to Neo-Lib Democrats. I don't believe they care at all what the truth is, they are going to say what Eric Holder wants said: The Arizona law is bad, bad, bad and shame on that state for driving the criminals out of Arizona to our districts!
The WaPo, or as it is referred to locally: the Washington Compost, parrots the company–or should that be Regime–line and hits all the important talking points. I'll let you peruse it at your own pace but don't do it on an empty stomach. The blatant tone of the entire article is intellectually insulting. Probably not as insulting as the intellectual vacuity of those in the meeting but still, it is offensive.

Is This Just a Nightmare, or Did It Really Happen?
Suppose you were an idiot. And suppose you were a member of Congress. But, then, I repeat myself.
-- Mark Twain
Is This Just a Nightmare, or Did It Really Happen?
That's the only conclusion that can be drawn after seeing a standing ovation for a two-bit, tin-pot head of state who had just insulted and slammed one of the United States, Arizona, while standing before a joint session of Congress. The crass, ignorant and highly politicized ovation was clear evidence that the left side of the aisle has no respect for America or Americans. They are clearly uncomfortable with the United States being an independent nation and the leader of the free world. They would rather that we were like all the other near-do-well nations in the world with a socialist government system and a compliant underclass to serve the needs of the political, and need I say rich, ruling elite. They have ceased to honor our nation and the sacrifices of those who built it. Instead they honor only their party, the Democrat Party, and their regime, The Obama Regime. I have never seen a more insipid and dishonorable act in my entire life although they have existed in history. Benedict Arnold was bolder and more honorable in his treason than are those who stood and applauded Mexican Presidente Felipe Calderon. If politicians were capable of shame, I would shout it to their faces. But these people, these pretenders to honor, have no conscience and no shame. They only have ambition to power.

FOXNews.com - Authorities Say Mojave Desert Replacement Memorial Cross Must Come Down
FOXNews.com - Authorities Say Mojave Desert Replacement Memorial Cross Must Come Down
The Supreme Court of the United States ruled in favor of the Memorial Cross, at least temporarily, and the ACLU and the Neo-Libs were so incensed by that ruling that I'm sure they smiled broadly when they heard that persons unknown had illegally removed the Memorial in the dark of night. When that happened they knew that they had a fait accompli in that once the original Memorial Cross was removed the National Park Service, ever a slave to political correctness, would immediately step-in to prevent the erection of a replacement. In effect, they won without winning.
They didn't count however, on veteran's groups raising a quick $125,000.00 for a reward for information as to the perpetrators of the action. As the caretakers of the original Memorial Cross had not yet finished making the replacement it has been suggested that the cross that miraculously re-appeared, again in the middle of the night and at the hands of persons unknown, is the original cross. ( If it is the original Memorial Cross, I would posit that the original thieves were shaken by the strength of the veteran's reaction and the willingness of a large group of people to put their butts in jail and decided to bring it back.) But that makes no difference to the National Park Service. Their spokesman...errr, spokesperson or spokeswoman I guess it should be...one Linda Slater has said the "new" cross has to be removed.
The attitude of the National Park Service is definitely appalling. Some would say even un-American. Myself, I would just say that they are bureaucratically brain-dead and stupid. Not unusual for people in the government with small minds and some power. These are the kind of people we can do without in the government so maybe they should be encouraged to go out and find work in the real world.

FOXNews.com - Federal Judge Awards Illegal Immigrant $145G Over Civil Rights Violation
I've seen stupidity before but this is ridiculous. Charles Dickens may have said it best in Oliver Twist: “If the law supposes that,” said Mr. Bumble,… “the law is a ass—a idiot. If that’s the eye of the law, the law is a bachelor; and the worst I wish the law is that his eye may be opened by experience—by experience.”
Clearly, the law is an ass in this case.

Students Kicked Off Campus for Wearing American Flag To School
In my life I've seen and experience stupid. But the teachers and administration at Live Oak High School in Morgan Hill, California, have taken it to a new level. To paraphrase Forrest Gump, "Stupid is as Live Oak High does." This is what happens when you let multiculteralism and political correctness reign supreme.
For a student to be denied the right to display the American flag on any day of the school year in deference to another flag is the most asinine and blatantly un-American thing I've ever heard. If I were a parent in Morgan Hill, I would be asking for a complete turnover of staff there. It would be better to school your children at home than send them to a school like this and I would encourage the students to file a lawsuit against the school.
As for the student that said she was being "disrespected" because Americans would dare to wear an American Flag on Cinco de Mayo, I would advise her to use her time in school to learn proper English. Respect is earned. It is not a right. And Cinco de Mayo is not an American holiday. It is a holiday celebrating the Mexican defeat of the French who were governing under an Austrian dictator. Hello? Beating the French in war is no great accomplishment but considering Mexico's current reputation and government under Calderon, that may be their greatest achievement.

MSNBC's Contessa Brewer 'Frustrated' That Times Square Bomber Is a Muslim | NewsBusters.org
For Contessa's edification, the photos above show the Islamic view of women's rights. I wonder if this what Contessa wants for herself and the rest of the world? I wonder if the fact that this is done in the name of Islam frustrates her. But I have no doubt that it's what they want and that the car bomb was planted in Times Square to further their cause. We are lucky it didn't explode.

Chicago Mayor Daley Wants US Gun Makers Sued in World Court
Chicago Mayor Daley Wants US Gun Makers Sued in World Court
Mayor Daley, arguably one of the poorest mayors in the United States–and by that I don't mean financially–who has failed to keep Chicago safe despite some of the most draconian gun laws in the United States. With his medieval mentality he continues to blame the inanimate object rather than the person who uses it and that is exactly why you're not safe in Chicago. There are more dangerous cities, to be sure, but Chicago is clearly a place where it's not safe to be out at night. If you want safety you'd best go to a city where the honest citizens are able to own guns and criminals are held accountable for their actions. You don't find that in Chicago.
But if Daley is so quick to want to diminish U.S. sovereignty to an international court, maybe he should think twice about the unintended results of such an act. He knows he is safe from any kind of lawsuit in Chicago, the home of machine politics and where Obama learned the Chicago Way. But would he be so safe in an international court? I wonder? Could a citizen of Chicago bring a suit against him for his failure in some area of local administration? I'm not, of course, saying that he's done anything wrong. I'm just, you know, saying...

Wouldn't a Miniseries on Attila the Hun Explain Nancy Pelosi?
Another excellent column from Ann Coulter. I recommend you read this one.
Ms. Coulter does an excellent job of verbally dismembering Rachel Madcow's screed against those who rallied on the anniversary of the Battles at Lexington and Concord. Madcow, for some reason known only to her, decided that it was on April 19 because that was the day that Timothy McVeigh set-off the bomb in Oklahoma City. Maybe we shouldn't be too hard on her, though, because she may have never been taught American History and if she was, she probably concentrated on period from 1959 to 1984 believing that was the most important period of American history and the rest of the time was off doing community service.
