NPR's Totenberg Expresses Regret for Using Term 'Christmas Party'

Fail.
Nina Totenberg exemplifies the problem of the liberal elite.  They consider themselves just "too cool" for God and Christianity when in actuality they are just incurably ignorant.

‘Mainstream’ Islamist Group Wants ‘Global Caliphate’ and Islamist America

It's not being fabricated.  They speak for themselves.
Will we let people like this control the destiny of our children?

The inability of people to recognize the threat that organizations like this are to our Constitution and our way of life is frustrating.  Time an again we are told that not all Muslims are trying to destroy our country and that it's not Islam that's the problem but a small group of political fanatics that use Islam as a front or cover for the terrorism that they perpetrate.  Then something like this comes along and we find out that a "mainstream" Muslim group, in this case the Islamic Circle of North America, actually promotes the establishment of a worldwide caliphate and the subjugation of America to shari'ah law and in doing so advances the cause of the so-called political fanatics.

Will someone please tell us why our government leaders aren't calling these people out?  Will someone please tell us why our government is more concerned about criticizing Islamic organizations such as the ICNA and CAIR than it is about protecting our Constitution and way of life?  Will someone please tell us why liberals in the Left Stream Media and the entertainment world kowtow to Islam while feeling free to insult all Christians?  (Wait!  I think I know the answer to that.  See the pictures of Rage Boy and his friends above.)

Isn't it time that our leaders admitted that there is a problem?

Decision Not to Rebuild Church Destroyed on 9/11 Surprises Greek Orthodox Leaders

What do you mean that the hotdog isn't halal?

St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church, a Christian church, was located in the shadows of the World Trade Center long before the World Trade Center was built.  The original building was build in in 1832 but the church started holding services in 1922.  It was the only non-World Trade Center building completely destroyed on 9/11.

Mayor Bloomberg, in his dhimmitude, is not trying to help the church be rebuilt but is all in favor of the Cordoba Monument to the 19 Martyrs.

Nor does the Port Authority of NY/NJ care if it is rebuilt.

And you can be sure that Barack Hussein Obama won't come to the rescue of the Greek Orthodox Church.

Does anyone else see that one religion is more equal than the other?

Franklin Graham: Obama 'Giving Islam a Pass,' Warns of Persecution

A thanks and tip o' the hat to my friend Pete R. who sent me the link to this item.

We all know that Franklin Graham was "disinvited" to the Pentagon's observance of National Prayer Day and that it was because he spoke out about Islam's treatment of women.  Theo Van Gogh did the same and was murdered by an Islamo-fascist.  But that was in Holland and this is in the U.S.  So the Rev. Graham was merely "disinvited" to an official ceremony.  Perhaps that is because those who would like to act in the name of Islam know that we American's would take serious umbrage to such an crime.  Perhaps they know that to achieve their aims it is better to let our own devotion to political correctness achieve their end game without further action on their part.

One thing is certain and that is that the Rev. Graham is speaking the truth.  It is a truth that President Obama and those now in power do not want to hear but it is the truth.  Ignoring the truth will not make it go away for, as Reagan said, "...facts are stubborn things."  More seriously, however, ignoring the truth places the entire nation and our culture in danger.

I recommend that you follow the link and listen to Rev. Graham.  It is worth your time.

Governor lets Va. troopers refer to Jesus - Washington Times

I applaud Governor Robert F. McDonnell's action and it makes me proud to be a Virginian.

Of course, the ACLU has a different view but that's what we've come to expect from an organization that clearly does not have America's best interests at heart.

FOXNews.com - Has Noah's Ark Been Found on Turkish Mountaintop?

From time to time discoveries are made confirming various parts of the Bible and this is good, albeit unnecessary for Christians where our faith is sufficient for our salvation.

Seattle cartoonist launches "Everybody Draw Mohammed Day"

I suppose that this should come under the topic "I will not submit" but that should be obvious.  The problem is not the Islamic religion as peacefully practiced; but, the 12th-century mentality demonstrated by some Islamic fundamentalists.  That they feel it is proper to threaten or even do physical harm on those who draw pictures of Mohammed while refusing to allow the freedom of worship in the Middle East is reason enough to participate in this this day supporting the 1st Amendment.  Despite the statement by Obama, we are not a Muslim nation and we will not be bound by the dictates of uneducated Muslim clerics who believe they have a duty to convert or kill all unbelievers or those who don't bow to, or become dhimmis, to Mohammed.  We owe the Koran no more preferential treatment than we owe the Bible or the Torah.  But unlike Saudi Arabi, where the Wahabi sect rules all religion, we allow all three in America and people are free to make their own choice as to which to follow.

Those who wish to worship Islam peacefully are welcome in America and we are bound to protect their right to worship as they please, but they will have to accept that we have a freedom of speech here that may sometimes offend some while pleasing others.  Christians are offended by "art" that has Christ on a Crucifix in a bottle of urine no less than Muslims are offended by a drawing of Mohammed.  The "sin" is on the creator and those who like that sort of thing;  but, both are allowable under our Constitution.

Have you got a problem with that?

Texas students see religious bias with 'year of Our Lord' - Washington Times

Texas students see religious bias with 'year of Our Lord' - Washington Times

Political correctness is an absolute idiocy contrived to make people feel good and utilized to attack the beliefs and customs of people or institutions that run counter to liberal-progressive ideology.  Prime among the beliefs that can be attacked with impunity is Christianity. In this story we hear of an objection to the term "In the year of Our Lord" that commonly precedes the year date on some, but not all, formal official documents.  In Western society we track the year date from the birth of Jesus Christ thus the term "In the year of Our Lord."  It has, therefore, a cultural and historical basis for being in formal documents, most especially university diplomas.

Now we have a petition begun by a Muslim student who attended Trinity College.  She objects to using the term "In the year of Our Lord" because it refers to Jesus Christ and, as she says, "...not everyone believes in Jesus Christ."  It makes me wonder about the type of student being accepted at Trinity College which is widely known for its Presbyterian founding just as much as Notre Dame or Georgetown are known to be connected to Catholicism.  If the students apply to that university one would think that they would know in advance that they are entering a school with a strong religious Christian foundation.  Not a Muslim foundation.  Not a Buddhist foundation.  Not a Rastafarian foundation.   A Christian foundation.  So what does this brilliant student, who happens to be Muslim and the head of the "Trinity Diversity Connection" do?  She wants to remove the reference to Jesus Christ because she doesn't believe in Jesus Christ.  Diversity, it seems, is a one way concept in her budding genius of a mind.  It seems she only celebrates diversity when it elevates her beliefs over the established beliefs of the institution she chose to attend.  Given her devotion to Islam, it would seem to have been more logical if she had chosen to attend university in Saudi Arabia where I'm sure they don't use the term "In the year of Our Lord."  But then again, in Saudi Arabia there is no "diversity" allowed.

Talk about chutzpah!

Judge: Natl Day Of Prayer Unconstitutional

Judge: National Day of Prayer Unconstitutional

Judge Barbara Crabb was appointed by President Jimmy Carter.  So go figure.

The problem with activist judges like this is that they willingly impose their personal will and prejudices on We the People using their office to supplant the legislature.  Judge Crabb is just following the liberal-progressive-socialist game plan for de-Christianizing America.  The National Day of Prayer does not establish a state religion but recognizes that we are a Christian nation.  The liberal-progressive-socialists from the far left just cannot stand that idea and have actively been seeking a way to destroy it.

Undermining Our Faith

Undermining Our Faith

This thoughtful piece is a recommended read for today. Eric Hoffer, who is the central reference in the story, was one of the most brilliant American writers and philosophers of the 20th Century with a personal story as compelling as his writing. I remember reading his books in high school and marveling that a longshoreman could think so deeply and with such clarity.

American Thinker: With 'Social Justice' You Don't Get Egg Roll

American Thinker: With 'Social Justice' You Don't Get Egg Roll

This is a good description of the most radical man ever elected president. While most of his public service career was spent voting "Present" this piece does list some of the issues on which he did take a stand, and believe me when I say that those issues have nothing to do with the Catholic dogma on "social justice" and everything to do with the liberal-progressive-socialist dogma of Karl Marx.

Obama Removes Jesus from Easter Message

Easter is a holiday, a Christian holiday, because it was on this day that Christ rose from the dead.  It is not a holiday for any other reason nor could it be.  Yet in an unbelievable display of crassness, President Obama removed Jesus from his Easter message.  The shear stupidity of that astounds me.

Leftists Have No Right to Strip Faith from American History

Leftists Have No Right to Strip Faith from American History

To deny that the Christian faith played a leading, if not the leading, role in American history is to propagate a lie. Despite the effort by liberal-progressive-socialist judges to redefine the Constitution, the clear wording is understandable to anyone with an 8th grade education save, of course, lawyers. The 1st Amendment provides for the freedom of religion but doesn't say that religion must be expelled from all governmental activities. No where in the Constitution does it say anything about the separation of church and state. It only says that the national government shall not establish a state religion and says nothing about any requirement that there be no religion at all in government.

It is those who promote the solid wall that have the mental problem, incapacity if you will, to allow others to believe as they wish and to freely practice their own religion. There is even a special name for them in American English. They are called liberal-progressives. They have a strong bent towards an exceedingly large, socialist central government and a view that allows for the silencing of any beliefs other than their own. They can be from the Democrat Party or RINOs for the party doesn't matter as much as the extension of control over We the People. And liberal-progressives of both stripes bask in the idea that they are doing what is best because they are the ruling elite.

Both are equally dangerous to the Republic and should be avoided like the snakes that they are.

The Man in the Watchtower

The Man in the Watchtower

Today we worship and remember that Christ has died, Christ is risen, Christ shall come again. It is a central tenant of the Christian faith that God gave his only Son that we would be forgiven. The linked piece is a reminder that God loves all who have faith, regardless of their religion, and His angels do act to ensure that His will is carried out.

NYT and WaPo: Muhammad Is the Prophet of God

Mohammed is believed to be a prophet only in Islam. As Christians, Jesus Christ is our Savior and the Son of God. That the NYT and WaPo act as dhimmis already is indicative of their complete disassociation with the facts of true American history.

Imagine No God in Our Nation’s Classrooms

"In God We Trust"

This post seems especially appropriate today and in this time.  Many, including our President, have forgotten that we are a Christian nation established by the Founding Fathers using Christian principles.  To say otherwise is nothing more than a lie.  And that is what Obama did when he said in a speech to Muslims that America is a "Muslim nation."  He lied and he knew he lied.  We are a Christian nation established with a Constitution that acknowledges God and allows the free exercise of all religions.  That is very unlike Muslim nations like Saudi Arabia where mere possession of a Christian Bible is a violation of the law.

Sadly, there are today those who sit in positions of power, like Obama, and positions of imagined power, like the school board in the linked blog, who believe otherwise and deem it appropriate, even proper, to disparage our Judeo-Christian heritage.  And to add insult to injury, they stupidly did it to avoid offending Muslim students.  It's as if the liberal-progressive-socialists have already decided that it is better to surrender and become a dhimmi than to be proud of our own heritage.  Doesn't the Left Coast remember who attacked us on 9/11?

Contemplate the sad intellectual state of the ruling elite that they would even contemplate such actions.  Think about the mentality that would purposely disparage our own culture for fear of making someone from another culture uncomfortable.  People of that mindset are to be pitied for their mental deficiency and despised for their actions.

One Nation Under God…by Jon McNaughton

Mr. President, in a trip to the Middle East you stated that the United States was "a Muslim nation."  You, Sir, could not have been more wrong.  The United States of America, despite the protests of the secularist statists among us, is a Christian nation founded on Christian principles.  Muslims are free to follow Islam as they worship here but they are not free to impose Islam on this nation or on the people.  Nor are they free to deny others the right, the free will, to worship or not worship as they please.

That is a fact that you, Mr. President, cannot alter to suit your perverted view of history.
