Venezuelan judge is jailed after ruling angers President Hugo Chávez

Hugo Chavez acts more like an organized crime lord than the elected president of the erstwhile democracy in Venezuela.  His dictatorial actions are destroying a beautiful, resource-rich country that has long suffered from despot to despot with the politically favored getting richer and the politically disfavored going to jail.  In this case a judge became "disfavored" with a ruling that Chavez didn't like.

He will, of course, be deposed eventually.  But as Obama has shown little understanding of the need for a strong foreign policy, except as it impacts Israel, this Latin American pimp continues to sell his nation to Iran and Russia thus bringing further destabilization to the Western Southern Hemisphere.

Obama's naiveté in foreign policy is clearly not in America's best interests and puts us on track for a seriously dangerous future with a well-armed, socialist bastion in Venezuela that can affect our security to the south. His failure to recognize that Russia is not interested in being our friend but only in getting as many concessions as possible shows that this, the "most intelligent" of presidents is pretty darn stupid. What is even more dangerous is that Obama's over-inflated ego will not allow him to take advice to the contrary. In other words, Obama is dangerously stupid.

Paper in China Sets Off Alarms in U.S.

One of the problems that we face in dealing with the Chinese as our main, and needed, source of money is President Obama's naiveté in foreign affairs.  The Chinese have long used Sun Tzu's The Art of War as their guide in the conduct of business and as a result they are extremely formidable opponents in business and to be emulated for their acumen.  In the West, business is conducted on the basis of investment, profit and cooperation.  In China, business is conducted as war absent the armed conflict and the goal of the Chinese businessman is not just to profit but to defeat.  By increasing our debt to the point that we must borrow money from China we have given them the opportunity to use that debt as a tool of war as it relates to business.  This article from the New York Times (more properly the New York Slime) outlines one of the more serious aspects of that war.

The Chinese do not, of course, want to wage a shooting war with the United States not because they would be afraid of the conflict but because it would not necessarily be profitable or, in the current situation, even necessary.  Obama has, in his haste to increase the deficit and debt of the country in order to bring about the chaotic financial conditions necessary for his "fundamental change," given the Chinese a tool of war that they will use to great effect.  An attack, without attacking, on the economy of the United States such as is outlined in the linked story could easily bring about conditions that would lead to a complete financial collapse that would benefit the Chinese more than Obama.  It is a scenario that is more dangerous than Obama can hope to understand for to the Chinese, he is little more than a useful idiot.

Michael Moore has strangely been unavailable for comment as have Sean Penn, George Clooney, Susan Sarandon, Tim Robbins, Ed Begley, Jane Fonda and Harry Belafonte.

The Congressional Black Caucus has not issued a statement as they have been too busy planning their defense of Charlie Rangel.

President Obama has made no public comment but reports are that he stated that "Cuba's internal affairs are none of our business."

Hillary was at the parlor and could not be disturbed.
