Joe, OWS and Ghaddafi

I’ve been on a hiatus for the last few months due to being extremely busy trying to ensure that there was food on the table and bills were paid…a situation faced by many readers of this blog and many more Americans across the nation; but also because I tried my hand at Twitter which I found both enjoyable and educational.  Enjoyable because of the thoughts that are passed by thousands of individuals around the world and educational because it forces one to express thoughts concisely.

It’s an interesting time we live in but do bear in mind that to live in interesting times is an old Chinese curse.  Just today I see that VP Joe Biden is telling a reporter who asked him a question about the propriety of Biden’s warning that the GOP ‘s failure to pass Obama’s jobs bill—at least he didn’t try to spell it with three letters this time—“Don’t screw around with me.”  Clearly Biden means what he says about rape and doesn’t want to be on the receiving end.

Actually, Joe is an expert of the subject but as a perpetrator and not a victim.  Perhaps that is why he’s shouting a warning that is clearly meant for Democrats rather than the GOP.  The GOP, after all, is trying it’s best to stop the rape and pillage of our nation by the Regime to which Biden belongs.

I see that the Occupy Wall Street (OWS) crowd has tried to support Joe’s theory of forthcoming violence with a sexual assault being reported in Cleveland and out in Oakland where a reporter was threatened with violence.  You can always count on the Liberals to have their ground troops follow their vocal lead after it is trumpeted by the Left Wing Media. 

As for the OWS urban terrorists being compared with the Tea Party, anyone with common sense can hear, see and smell the difference.  Anyone, of course, except the Left Wing Media and the Obama Regime, both of which are doing all they can to turn the OWS into a real movement of substance instead of a rabble that prefers violent confrontation to working in the system.  If you look at the make-up of the OWS you find pure anarchists, Communists, National Socialists, anti-Jewish racists, SEIU-organized thugs and out-of-control, drug-addled youths frustrated that they aren’t getting Wall Streets money for doing nothing—step children of the Democrat party all.  Together they are doing all they can to insult America and bring the Republic down around our collective heads.  What a wonderful group to be praised by the Democrat leadership, don’t you think! 

Add to this the increasing desire of Obama to govern—no a better word is rule—without the consent of the governed through Congress and you have a clear picture of what the modern Democrat Party has become.  John Kennedy is certainly spinning like a top in his grave. 

So now Ghaddafi is dead.  Did you miss Hillary’s gauche reaction?  While I do take solace in the fact that Justice was done—albeit street justice that bodes ill for the future of Libya—I can’t take such laughing joy at the death of someone even though he was an enemy.  Had he died with a weapon in his hand I would say to the soldiers (rebels?) involved “Well done!” but you saw the video.  Dragged beaten and bleeding through the streets then shot like a dog with a pistol at close range.  There is no pride in such an act.  A trial and hanging would have been more appropriate.  (I would have said “civilized” but nothing about war, and even less about armed revolution, is civilized.)  I’ve heard comparisons between Ghaddafi’s demise and that of Benito Mussolini’s in WWII (Gen X’s can Google the name if you missed that in high school history) but even though Mussolini ended up hung from the heals like meat there aren’t any giggling comments recorded by our leaders of the time.  To the contrary, realizing the hell of a world war and all that it entailed, they let the moment pass and turned their attention to Mussolini’s allies.  But Hillary’s reaction was a sobering moment and shows the complete lack of character of our current leadership.  She epitomized the gangster mentality encouraged by Obama.

It makes me wonder if Obama will put a paper maché copy of Ghaddifi’s head alongside the one of Osama on the White House’s front lawn for Halloween this year.  Or will he save that for October 2012 hoping it will help him in November 2012? 

We should continue to keep the Libyan people in our prayers for the worst is yet to come.  The street justice meted to Ghaddafi, like that of the French Revolution where the Revolutionary courts dispatched countless people besides the King and Marie Antonette to the guillotine and Madame Defarge for something as minor as being Catholic.  That’s what happens when a revolution is taken to its logical conclusion and in the history of the world only one revolution avoided that conclusion: the American one.  That’s something to contemplate especially when you hear a liberal tearing down the country and, like a significant portion of those involved in OWS advocating “revolution.”  I know that the Democrats and Obama are hoping against hope that the rabid coalition of socialists, communists, National Socialists and racists festering on the streets of NYC that they have taken to applauding will morph into the Left-Wing equivalent of the Tea Party, but the chance of that happening is akin to the proverbial chance of a snowball in hell.  The Tea Party followed and follows the ideals of our Founding Fathers.  OWS follows the ideas and tactics of people like Mao, Stalin, Lenin and Castro to name a few.  It’s easy to see where and how their kind of revolution would end. 

Enough for today.  Time for a cigar and a glass of whisky, straight up, of course.  After all, it’s 5:00 PM somewhere. 

Maybe Hu Got the Last Laugh

Doug Powers writes an excellent guest blog on Michelle Malkin's site.  My only criticism is the use of the word "Maybe."  There is no doubt in my mind that Hu enjoyed the choice of tunes.  I do wonder, however if Lang Lang, an extremely talented pianist, chose that one particular song or if it was suggested by someone from Obama's White House staff.

Journalists urged caution after Ft. Hood, now race to blame Palin after Arizona shootings

The utter hypocrisy of the liberal Left Stream Media.  Is it any wonder that the market share of outlets like CNN and MSNBC are staggeringly low?  They do not adhere to any journalistic standard but instead follow ideological boundaries.  The shooting in Arizona was terrible but the alleged shooter, Jared Lee Loughner, was described by friends as a "liberal, left wing activist."  Yet CNN and MSNBC are going out of their way to blame Sarah Palin and the rhetoric of conservative talk radio.  I don't believe it is possible for them to be more asinine in their spin on the news.  It would be more logical for them to blame The Daily Kos who published a now-removed (so they could attack Palin with clean hands, I suppose) comment that Gifford should die because she wasn't liberal enough.  But that would still be a ridiculous assertion.

The internet ramblings of Loughner point more to a disturbed individual than to a true political/religious ideologue like Major Nidal Hasan of Ft. Hood Massacre fame.  Remember how the same ones who are now pointing fingers urged calm and said we shouldn't rush to judgment about his Islamic jihadist motives?  They were wrong then, too.  Loughner is not a military veteran as some said immediately after the shooting.  (Why do idiots always like to blame the military first?  We've seen violence, true, and it is something we never want to see again.)  There is no evidence that he is a member of any TEA Party group as the left-wing "Let's-take-advantage-of-this" groups have been asserting.  He is most certainly not a Republican or a Conservative with two of his favorite books being listed as Mein Kampf and the Communist Manifesto both of which promote left-wing ideology.  He may belong to some fringe group but it is one that is not aligned with either of the two main political parties here in the United States in any manner or fashion.

The investigation of Loughner and the shooting is ongoing.  He is in custody.  Sarah Palin, Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, et al., clearly had nothing to do with it nor did the political rhetoric of the day promote this sick act.  Think about that when you hear a news commentator try to insinuate that opposition to Obama promoted an attempt on the life of Rep. Gabrielle Giffords.  Who are really the promoters of violence?

Why do I have the feeling that isn't a tobacco cigarette?  

I'm reasonably certain that I'll get a disclaimer from the usual source in Hawaii--my guess is that it's probably an avowed liberal Democrat...someone like the Governor even--claiming that Frank Marshall Davis was neither a Communist or an influence on young Barry Soetoro.  Unfortunately the facts just don't support the denial.

Jane Fonda Blames Giffords Shooting on Sarah Palin, Glenn Beck and the Tea Party

Well, it didn't take long!  Commie Jane Fonda is off and running trying to push the blame on the right.

I've held her in disgust for about 40 years so this doesn't surprise me but it does reveal a pathetic side of her personality.  And her father was such a great actor.  There are a lot of people my age who think she should be in prison for treason but she escaped prosecution because of what we now call "political correctness."  At that time it was just seen as politically cool to be extremely stupid.

The great campaign of 2010

He believes that is his power alone that he exercises rather than power on loan from We the People.

There are few pundits--very, very few--who are as knowledgable or astute as Charles Krauthammer.  In the linked WaPo opinion piece he succinctly describes the problem that is Obama.  Far from the "post-racial" president he said he would be, he is now stoking the fires of racism--some might call it reverse racism but it is, in truth, simply racism--in hopes of salvaging some seats in next week's election.

I'm not sure what he expected when he was elected.  A properly balanced person would view the initial adulation with satisfaction but that would be tempered with the awful realization of the responsibilities that had been given by We the People.  Unfortunately, there appears to be some serious defects in Obama's psychological make-up that were not uncovered during the campaign period--go figure given the fawning, Left Stream Media that could not even spell Bill Ayers' name--that caused him to see not the responsibilities of office, but only the opportunities to exercise power in the manner that his ill-developed psyche believed that power had always been exercised.  Unlike Bill Clinton who despite a plethora of character flaws understood that the power emanated from We the People, Obama believes that he alone creates the power and he exercises it as he wishes despite the will of of the electorate.

The "why" of this is simple.  Obama was raised by the leftist fringe in America.  His mentors were people like Frank Marshall Davis, a member of the Communist Party, and from an early age he was indoctrinated with the world-view that the American leaders used their power unilaterally without regard for the electorate but with deference only to the hated capitalists.  Despite the downfall of the Soviet Union and communism's ultimate failure as anything but an interesting but unworkable theory, Obama has an ingrained a view that all power emanates not from We the People but from the office that he now temporarily occupies in accordance with a most temporary 4-year lease.  He narcissistically believes that it is his power alone and that he cannot be held to account for its exercise.  Yet while frightened that he may lose the power, he will reactively ignore the vote of the electorate and will cling to it as he clearly means to use it to get even with all those mean, heartless capitalists who have held down the leftist fringe of society for so long.  His closest allies have not been distinguished legislators from both sides of the aisle but those closest to the fringe--the idiots, if you will--of his own party.  His closest advisors have been only from the far, far left fringe of America who in years past have proudly worn the label of Communist, Marxist, Terrorist and Socialist.  He is most prominently supported by union thugs and those who make a living through racism.  His ultimate goal is to create a central government that controls everything in our lives and enslaves us to its wishes.

This coming Tuesday is only the start of the battle.  As Krauthammer points out, Obama has put in place numerous, unaccountable, like-minded czars and political appointees who will carry-out his agenda to transform America by executive fiat.  They will act without Congressional guidance or approval and will do so with only Obama's approval.  His goal is not to represent We the People but to further his leftist agenda regardless of the objections that We the People will express through our vote.  His goal is to rule, not to govern, and he won't let minor details like overwhelming political opposition get in the way.

Remember that when you go to the polls this next Tuesday.  And remember that the fight has just begun.  We will have to stay engaged in the political process to ensure that our newly elected Representatives and Senators do not forget why they were elected or what we expect them to do.  While working across the aisle is a good thing on it's face, it is a bad thing if it means ignoring principle and we must never allow them to do that.  There will be complaints from the Oval Office and the Left Stream Media over the obstructionism of the House and Senate but we must turn a deaf ear to that and adhere to those principles given us by our Founders.  No longer can we allow self-appointed members of the liberal elite to tell us "what was really meant" by our Founders because, quite frankly, they lie.  It's as simple as that.

More on Frank Marshall Davis and his impact on a young Barry Soetoro whom we now know as Barack Obama. Clearly the early exposure to the socialist/marxist ideals in which he lived after being sent to live with his maternal grandparents (read: abandoned) by his mother and adoptive father had a telling effect on Obama's world view. His drive to redistribute wealth and overload the U.S. system a la Cloward & Piven are proof of his basic hatred for the capitalist democratic American system which clearly came from this early exposure to communism through his grandparents and Davis.

There have been recent writings proffering that Obama's rude and uncalled for return of the Winston Churchill bust to Great Britain was a result of the influence of his father whose own father had been arrested by the British during the colonial period in Kenya thus Obama has an anti-colonialist streak in his intellect. I'm not sure that is valid as his birth father had little real contact with young Barry; but if it is true then I am sure that is due to a child's propensity to fill-in unknown facts about his father or mother with that which he wished were true as guided by the known anti-colonialist attitude of Davis and his maternal grandfather.

Big Dupes at Big Peace: Frank Marshall Davis, Obama Mentor – Part 1

I blogged previously on the relationship between Frank Marshall Davis and Barry Obama and received a couple of comments from a person in Hawaii who stated with absolute certainty that Davis was not a Communist. It turns out that that person–I believe it was an impressionable college student under the influence of an older and very über liberal professor–was completely wrong in asserting that there was no proof that Davis was a Communist. There is proof. Absolute proof.

The impact of Davis' relationship with Obama has not been fully explored but considering Obama's open attempt to re-invent the United States as a socialist state the relationship between the mentor and his willing student was clearly one that significantly helped to form Obama's Marx-tinted world view. It is to the complete discredit of the Left Stream Media that they purposely ignored an issue that clearly should have been before the American people. They proudly and shamelessly failed in their duty.

Fonda and another liberal Democrat loon, now Senator, John "I served in Vietnam" Kerry.  Both should be ashamed.

In Laredo, Texas, in 1989 I came home from a long day at the office–I was the Resident Agent in Charge of the DEA Resident Office at the time–and saw my neighbor, Chuck Taylor working in his yard across the street. Chuck was one of the finest of Continental Air Services pilots during the period 1965 to 1975 (the time he spent in Southeast Asia) and we had many friends in common. After a chat I went into the house where my two boys were playing while my ex-wife was exercising in front of the TV to a new video. I took one look at Jane Fonda on the screen and went to the tape player and hit the eject button. My ex-wife was speechless as I slipped the tape back into it's cover, went to the door and threw it out into the street. I looked her in the eye and told her to never, ever bring "that bitch" back into my home. (She learned and she didn't.)

A little while later I looked out in the street and saw Chuck in his truck. He was repeatedly running over the tape with the tire of his truck. Having made a trip to the Thai grocery in San Antonio the previous weekend, I grabbed a couple of Singha beers from the fridge and went out to visit with Chuck and compliment him on his driving. He asked me if I'd like to drive a while so I got in and took my turn running over the tape and it's box while he watched from the curb while drinking a cold beer. He later said that he wondered what had happened when he saw me throw a tape into the street until he walked out and saw the box and when he saw Commie Jane's photo. Then he went and got his truck.

A couple of other neighbors came out to see what we were doing and one offered to get a dust pan to collect the pieces to throw in the garbage. They understood our feelings.

Commie Jane feels no remorse for her perfidy and it is my sincere belief that there is a special place in Hades for people like her. I'm glad she's still alive and that when she walks down the street she still sees people who look at her with the disgust she so richly deserves.
