Walpin-Gate Suit Has New Motion - Water Cooler - Washington Times

Walpin-Gate Suit Has New Motion - Water Cooler - Washington Times

It would appear that there is an obstruction of justice case in the offing as a result of the Chicago Way being used in the Walpin matter. What is most interesting is that this case has direct ties to First Lady Michelle Obama and thus to the President.

In case you've missed the previous reports on this matter, the case involves the summary dismissal of AmeriCorps Inspector General Gerald Walpin by the White House without the required 30-day notice to Congress. (It should be noted that then Senator Barack Obama in one of his rare appearances in the Senate voted in favor of the law requiring the notice to Congress.) The firing occurred after Walpin began investigating the mayor of Sacramento, Kevin Johnson, a former professional basketball player and a self-declared friend of and an early and strong political supporter of Barack and Michelle Obama. The investigation was over the misuse of AmeriCorps funds by the mayor for personal expenses rather than for its' intended purpose.
