There is nothing more precious than freedom unless, of course, you are a troglodytic, liberal-progressive-socialist and totally out of touch with reality like John McLaughlin. He's been in Washington so long he's forgotten that the real world is not inside the Beltway. That he could even conceive of such a statement shows that he is long overdue for retirement.
