The Problem with Activist Judges
You will often hear conservatives complain about activist judges and the linked article shows very clearly why the complaints are valid. Judges have gotten used to being able to overturn the will of the people in political matters and this should be stopped. This judge should be removed and required to attend a course on the Constitution before being allowed back into the legal profession.

Health Care and Our Inalienable Rights
While the Founding Fathers used unalienable rights in the Declaration of Independence, the use of "inalienable" does not detract from the author's reasoning. Obamacare is a direct assault on the right of all Americans to make their own health decisions. The idea that the government can force people to buy health insurance is straight from socialism where the state is supreme above the individual. That is not the way the Constitution is written and Obamacare, if passed, should be quickly declared unconstitutional.

If you take a look at the definition of terrorism, NW 253 was a success from the terrorist's view. It would have been a greater success had the bomb gone off and destroyed the plane killing all aboard but the fact that they got that close brought joy to the hearts of Islamic terrorists everywhere and sowed doubt about the security of America's airlines among all Americans.

I find this interesting and do wonder if there has been any serious enquiry as to the effect the shifting of the magnetic poles has on the weather.
If you have read my blog for any time at all you will have discerned that I believe the "science" behind Anthropogenic Global Warming is a fraud. My reasoning is well detailed and we know that it isn't about the weather but about money and the control of people. But it is true that the weather changes over time and this is best demonstrated when we look at Greenland. A millennium ago it was so named because it was green; but all my life it has been covered with snow and ice and very, very little green. Recent archeological discoveries show that the Vikings who settled there were active farmers and even had vineyards which shows that the climate then was quite warm. After all, vineyards do not survive at temperatures below 25ยบ F.
So what effect does the movement of the magnetic poles have on the weather...if any? Anyone have an idea on this one that doesn't need to be tied to SUV's burning gasoline, coal-fired power plants or carbon dioxide? I'd be interested to hear them.

Third World Airport Security
One of the problems we face is the lack of actual security in airports in the Third World. Most of the time they make a huge show of performing necessary security when, in actual fact, there is no security at all because the wealthy or politically connected travel around the security apparatus with impunity.
